Helen burst on to the scene during the 2005-06 season when she won Canada’s first ever World Cup Gold Medal and delivered this country’s best ever Olympic result in women’s bobsleigh placing 4th in Torino, Italy.

Improving each season, Helen and teammates, Jennifer Ciochetti of Edmonton and Heather Moyse of Toronto have delivered 5 World Cup medals in 8 races this past winter. With these results they climbed into third overall behind the two powerful German teams.

Helen’s has set an objective of becoming the first women in Canadian sports history to win an Olympic medal in bobsleigh in 2010.
