World Cup Bobsled Silent Auction – July 2008

BACKGROUND:
Jenny Ciochetti arrived on the World Cup circuit in 2006-2007, joining pilot Helen Upperton where the pair enjoyed immediate success. An outstanding athlete, Jenny comes to bobsleigh by way of track and field where she was a top sprinter at the University of Alberta. She was invited by Canada’s development coach, Matt Hindle, to participate in one of the national team testing camps. Her results launched her into the top group of an already strong pool of national team brakemen. Living in Edmonton, Jenny commutes to Calgary to train with Helen as they prepare for the 2009 World Championships and the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
