Michelle Nickel, BA
Investment Philosophy: I help clients achieve their short and long term investment goals through a customized, diversified portfolio, combined with well researched individual investment ideas.
Experience
My experience with investments dates back to 1998, when I became licensed to trade securities. At the outset of my career, I worked primarily for a hedge fund run by my firm, and assisted large clients with trading, research and other administrative functions. I went on to become an Investment Advisor at Canaccord Capital in 2001, where I became a member of the Chairman’s Circle in 2002 (which recognizes the top Investment Advisors at the firm). I joined Jennings Capital in 2006.
Areas of Expertise
My clients range from young individuals with recently created RRSPs looking for steady long term returns; to very sophisticated institutional investors looking for individual investment ideas. Each solution is customized for that client – from the detailed retirement planning analysis to the written investment thesis for a particular stock.
