Sr. Vice President, Senior Mining Analyst, Head of Research
Ron joined the Jennings Toronto office in November 2002 as a Senior Mining Analyst. He is a geologist and has been involved with the mining industry for over 30 years. He studied geology at both Dalhousie University (BSc) and McGill University (MSc). Ron joined the exploration team of Getty Mines Limited, a subsidiary of Getty Oil Company, in 1975. After 10 years of actively generating and managing exploration programs in gold, copper, zinc and uranium all across Canada, he entered the investment industry in 1986. Ron worked as a mining research analyst for Deutsche Bank (1987 – 1997) and Thomson Kernaghan (1998 – 2002).
